Do you offer a warranty/Guarantee?
We will do our very best to ensure you have excellent service and prompt courtious responses to all of your questions. 
Equipment warranty is with the manufacturer of the equipment. 
What kind of maintainance package do you have?
If it breaks, call us.  No maintenance is included in our calls, but we will be happy to supply you with new equipment if a device fails. 
Do you charge for instalation?. If so, how much?
At this time.  Installation is $99.99.  From Time to Time we may offer Free installation.
  
How fast is your service compared to cable,dial-up,and DSL?
About 20 times faster than dial up, and about the same as DSL
Is it easy to move from place to place?
Depends on whether you're subscribed to satellite, or using wireless.  With satellite it can't be moved very easily, but there is a mobile satellite connection available called mobile sat...call for details.
With wireless, you can use a laptop to connect when close to a friendly zone or hotspot, but if connecting from your home to the friendly zone, it is not easily moved, but we can help you with that.  Call for more detail.
Is your sevice compatable with blue tooth/centrino wireless software?.
Blue tooth is used to connect wireless perhiperals to your computer (PAN), not for wireless internet coverage.  Our wireless sytem uses standard 802.11 b/g wireless networking. 
Can you play on-line games with your service?
You can play games. If you are using Satellite, interactive real time games do not function well do to the 44000 mile roundtrip and something us chipheads call lag.  Since our wireless connection sometimes relies on a satellite uplink, you may or may not have lag, ask us.
How does it work?  
For Satellite.  A signal is beamed from your house to outer space where it goes into a satellite and is transmitted back to a ground based station at LincSat.  The transmission then goes out to the destination and back to you via the satellite.  All this happens within microseconds.  A 44 thousand mile trip that appears almost instantaneous.
For wireless , After installing a wireless client subscriber device (like a modem) we point you to one of our uplink towers which connects you to the internet.

You can do either.

If you're using satellite....anywhere, for wireless, our coverate is growing yearly in Prince Edward County
As we build our wireless infrastructure our area of coverage constanty changes.   See our links on the home page and if you don't see your area listed, call us and we can give you an idea if you will have coverage or we may offer to come and to a site survey to determine if we can get you covered.  The site survey is free if we can offer you coverage and you sign up.  If we can offer you coverage but you decide not to sign up, we charge $50.00 for the Site Survey.

Is there a long distance charge everytime I connect?
No, for wireless or Satellite, you are not using your phone line, so you incur no phone charges  
How do I go about cancelling my service?
If you are purchasing the Hardware you can cancel anytime after your first 3 months are over. If you are leasing the hardware, we require a minimum 1 year contract. 
Do I get my own e-mail address?
For Satellite, you can get a LincSat address, for wireless your email can be Provided by Rostech on request 
Do I get my own web space? if so, how much space do I get?
We do offer web space, but only on request.  It starts at 10Mb for free.
Do you have an introductory offer?
Free installation from time to time.
What makes you different from other internet providers?
We provide high speed in Rural areas. Will will match any competitors price, and provide you with top notch service.

Do I receive any kind of tax rebate for choosing your service?
Only if you can write the service off against your own business 
What kind of security do you offer?
Since we are offering Public Internet Access, we are not providing security for the connection.  We are encouraging people to connect, securing system would require us to hide the service from view. We encourage people to install a router in their home to provide a firewall, or use the Personal Firewall that comes built into Windows XP. 

If you are connected via Satellite you have the same security you would if you connected via DSL, we recommend people make use of the Personal Firewall Built into Windows XP.

Web Hosting

How do you accept payments for web site setup ? Is it secure ? Refunds ?

We  accept credit cards
Once your payment is cleared, your site will be setup within 48 hours.
Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Company Management.

How much do you charge in other currency ?
If you are abroad and using a different currency then pay the equivalent to our charges in your currency. You can get the current exchange rates from Yahoo Finance.

How long does it take to register / transfer domains ?
It takes around 48 to 72 hours for a new domain to become registered and become adequately propagated, same thing happens if you are transferring your domain name to our server. Additional time may be required if your isp is not updating their local DNS cache regularly. However your web space should be ready as soon as we can configure, preferably within 1 to 48 hours, so that you can upload your site immediately.

Why don't you reply to any of my Emails :@ ?
Some times we are unable to contact our new or existing clients because their email is bouncing / unreachable, there maybe several reasons for this. Normally we reply within 24 hours, if not please try to contact us immediately and provide us with your alternate email addresses.

Do you provide Free Domain Name Registration ?
No, we do not provide free domain registration, unless there is some kind of special offer going on.

Do you host free domains ? Do you host country domains ?
We are capable of hosting any domain names, including country names, registered with any registrar company; as long as they are capable of updating the DNS / Name Server information of the domain name to point to our servers. In most cases the registrar company provides an online interface for updating the DNS by the owner. If your domain registration company does not have such an interface, contact them directly and ask them to update the DNS records.

Can I put banner advertisement on my web pages ?
Why not ? Put as many banner or pop up ads as you want.
Remember, that our regular terms apply to any banner or third party content that you apply to your website.

Can we download emails from your mail server ? Can we read mail Online ?
Yes we provide POP3 mail boxes, just use a mail client software like Eudora or Outlook to download your email from our servers. Login with your email & password. 

There are also web mail clients on windows and unix servers, so that you may use a web browser to send and receive email.

Do you provide MX record change for using free email servers  ?
Yes we provide Mx record changes on windows servers, so that you can use any free email server provider such as http://www.oemmail.com/ or http://www.everyone.net/ or http://www.bigmailbox.com/ , these companies provides free email server for your domain name with unlimited number of mailboxes and server space. If you use their service then you can continue hosting your site on our server while taking the advantage of using their unlimited account mail servers. There are many such companies.

Do you provide technical/development support to your clients ?
Yes, we prove support by email. Development support is also provided to some extent. For example you may send us questions regarding database connectivity or any feature on web development. We will try to provide a solution for your problem free of cost.  You may also post your question in our support forum. We typically respond to a support request within 2 business days. However we charge extra if you want us to develop something for you.

Do you provide domain redirection ?
Yes we can redirect your domain to any server you want to , using DNS or scripts. However we encourage you to store your site on our fast servers and utilize the massive space we are providing.

What are your server  configuration and data center facility?
All of our servers have multi gigabit processors and Ram, with fault tolerant Raid hard drives. Either rack mounted or in 4u Boxes. Protected by in house firewall. Read terms for more info on our backup policy.

What are your internet backbone connections ?
Our Internet connections are directly connected to multiple top tier  Internet backbones providing Gigabit & OC3 Links assuring optimum performance for our users.
